The main features of quartz sand filter
Quartz sand filter equipment has a simple structure and is more convenient to run backwashing. It is mainly through adjusting 4 valves to change the direction of water. During operation, it is up and down, and for backwashing, it is in and up and out, and then the backwash is reversed through the blowdown valve. The washing sewage is discharged, and then the washing is carried out until the effluent is clear and clean. The quartz sand should be filled with: the size of the dirt interception layer of quartz sand is 0.5-1.0mm, the height is above 700mm, and there are two supporting layers underneath, which are 1 -2mm filling height is 150-200mm, 2-3mm filling height is 150-200mm. Untreated water has a pollution interception capacity of 0.5-1.0Kg/m3, and lime-treated water has a pollution interception capacity of 1.5-2.0 Kg/m3. For coagulated water, its pollution interception capacity is 2.5- 3.0Kg/m3.
